In 2015 a group of local musicians got together to form a band whose aim was to raise money for charity and local causes. Over the next four years we raised thousands of pounds, but the Covid pandemic stopped us in our tracks.

We share a love of escape rooms as well as playing music, so came up with the idea of launching a non-profit escape room in the local community. We are delighted that the Cwmtwrch Welfare Hall have rented us a room to turn this dream into a reality, and we hope that you will have us much fun playing the game as we did creating it!

Our room has been set up to be suitable for teams of between two and eight players, but we have welcomed larger teams. The game design is flexible so that it's possible for smaller or less experienced teams to escape successfully but there is a lot of additional content that will keep the most experienced teams and larger groups fully occupied for the whole hour.

At Valley Escape, our focus is on three key areas: immersive puzzles, attentive hosting and affordable prices.
As a non-profit we are able to offer lower prices - other rooms locally are typically 50% more expensive* - and we even have a range of play-at-home escape games available to purchase at 30% below the producers' own selling prices.

There is a small path between the hall and a playground in the car park. To access our room, you should follow this path around to the rear of the hall. The room's entrance is the second door and will be signposted with our logo.
